We provide a bespoke offsetting solution for developers:

  • Evelyn Ecology acquire arable and / or species poor grassland and implement habitat creation and enhancement.
  • Our habitat banks are strategically located within the Local Nature Recovery Strategy where possible.
  • We design habitats for nature first and in line with local and national policy targets.

Development

The uplift in biodiversity units on our habitat banks can be purchased by a developer as an offsetting solution to compensate for schemes/projects that are in a biodiversity net loss

Using our ecological and planning expertise, we offer our clients clear and robust solutions to Biodiversity Net Gain at all stages of a scheme. Our services include:

Why Biodiversity matters.

Since the 1970s, the United Kingdom has witnessed a significant decline in its biodiversity, with almost half of its species being lost. This decline can be attributed largely to the encroachment of commercial farming and construction on natural habitats.
